Bridging Voices needs you!

We have always relied on a combination of grants and individual donations to fund our programs. At this point in time, funding for the Arts has been drastically reduced, and we’re feeling the impact. We are relying more than ever on the generosity of individuals to provide the support these young people need.

it’s easy to say “they need it”, but I’ve seen the kind of difference Bridging Voices has made in individual lives. It’s not an exaggeration to say that it saves lives.

Many of our donors have told me that they wish that a Bridging Voices had been around for them when they were young. Others donate in honor of a young person they’ve seen change for the better.

We are the only chorus in Oregon specifically reaching out to queer, questioning, and allied youth, providing a safe space for youth to share their experiences and love of music in a validating, nonjudgmental environment.

With the start of our 26-27 season, we are asking our supporters to join us in contributing $5 each month. Monthly donations give the chorus a stable income and demonstrate to the chorus and our grantors that we have the community support to continue to operate well into the future.

Although many of our donors choose to donate on-line through our Zeffy link, we welcome donations by mail as well. Our address is POB 86033, Portland, OR 97286.

There are many worthy charities out there and I am grateful to you for considering us. We can’t do what we do without community support.

Ways to amplify your donation:

  • Spread the word about our program and its importance

  • Ask your employer to match your charitable giving

  • Challenge your friends to match your donation

  • Write an email that we can share, explaining why you support us. Your feedback helps us win grants.

We earned a 2026 Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency! This lets you know that your donation is in good hands, showing that we're open and honest about our work and finances.
